Are we watching a Bird performance?

I wasn't born yet when the Sycamores of Indiana State were led by Larry Bird to the National Title game in 1979. But, are we watching a reincarnation of that with Davidson? Stephen Curry, the son of former Virginia Tech sharpshooter Dell Curry, has been lighting up teams in the NCAA Tournament. The teams he has lit up are not 15 and 16 seeds either. Opponent 1, Gonzaga, Curry torched them in the 2nd half. Next up, the # 2 seed Georgetown Hoyas: Curry again carrying a blowtorch. Last night, the Wisconsin Badgers, who are probably known for stingy defense as much as anything. The Badgers were never really in it. But are Curry and the Wildcats going to turn into pumpkins on Sunday when they take on Kansas? I think so. I just don't know that Curry can muster up that effort one more time and if he has enough around him to support it. This Kansas team, arguably has the most talent and most depth of any team in the NCAA Tournament. Even if the slipper won't fit one more time, Stephen Curry has put on quite a show in the NCAA Tournament and has raised the bar for next year's expectations of him. Also, he has also raised the bar for another team next year. His brother Seth, who is scheduled to attend Liberty University as a freshman, is also probably going to have a big spotlight shine down on him as well.
